All Admins of the Page can also delete your comment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you made the comment as a reply to someone else\u2019s comment, then the person who posted the original comment can delete yours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is regardless of their status. In other words, even ordinary members can delete comments beneath their own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In all other circumstances, you cannot delete other members\u2019 comments and they can\u2019t delete yours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, all members can report a comment as being offensive or damaging. So, it\u2019s quite likely that members will simply think they got interrupted before they finished posting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"If_I_Delete_A_Comment_On_A_Page_Does_The_Admin_Know\"><\/span>If I Delete A Comment On A Page, Does The Admin Know?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I am an Admin on our Company Page so I asked a colleague to test this with me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She added a comment underneath the post on our page and then deleted it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When I looked at the Admin views, all traces of the comment activity were removed from the Activity tab and the Analytics tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, the answer is that Admins do not get notified or see any evidence that comments were deleted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Can_Deleted_Comments_Be_Retrieved_By_Page_Admins\"><\/span>Can Deleted Comments Be Retrieved By Page Admins?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Page Admins cannot retrieve or restore deleted comments from the Page. That is even when the Admin made the comment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There\u2019s no way to do it because LinkedIn doesn\u2019t give any way to view deleted comments once they\u2019ve been removed from the display.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, there could be legal circumstances when you need a deleted comment to be retrieved. You would need to reach out to support staff for help.
