These new pages take time to propagate across the global LinkedIn database.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The LinkedIn support pages say that this can take 1-2 weeks. In my experience, it\u2019s more like 3-4 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the page still isn\u2019t showing up in searches after four days, then you should try the solutions in the rest of this article.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Cant_Find_A_LinkedIn_Company_Page_When_Adding_Experience_Follow_It_First\"><\/span>Can\u2019t Find A LinkedIn Company Page When Adding Experience? Follow It First<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the easiest solution, and it often works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re assuming two things for this fix:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"1\"><li>The company page doesn\u2019t show up in the drop-down list when you are adding experience.<\/li><li>You can find the company page in other ways. We show the quickest way to complete every part of the profile. That includes a cover image and a hashtag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I recommend that you scan through that article to make sure that you\u2019ve added sections that make the LinkedIn algorithms see the page as complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Still have a problem?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is some advice on expanding on the company profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"1\"><li>Ensure that the company description is six sentences.<\/li><li>Create at least one post.<\/li><li>Follow the page from your personal account<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Optional tip: switch the company type<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I haven\u2019t verified that this tip works, but it was reported to me by someone who said it solved their problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company admin had set the page to be \u201cSole Proprietorship\u201d. He found that when he changed this to \u201cPrivately held\u201d (which is similar) that the page then became more visible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I suspect that the actual details don\u2019t matter here. Instead, it was extra activity on the page that triggered the LinkedIn algorithm to make the page visible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re going to try this, you may want to set the details back to what you originally chose when you find that the fix worked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Is_The_Page_Still_Not_Showing_Up_Add_More_Followers\"><\/span>Is The Page Still Not Showing Up? Then add more if you can persuade friends and contacts to help you out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It seems that the LinkedIn algorithm sometimes needs to see further activity on the page to surface it.
