I\u2019ll run through them here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Restrictions that stop you from deleting a page<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You won\u2019t be able to remove the Company page if it:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>is running an active ad campaign<\/li><li>has an associated Career Page<\/li><li>has an active Showcase Page<\/li><li>has affiliated pages<\/li><li>has 100 affiliated employees<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>When you try to deactivate the page, the LinkedIn interface will usually tell you what problem is preventing the completion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You may have some clean-up tasks to do first, such as stopping ad campaigns or deleting the Career Page. You don\u2019t want to suffer from unintended consequences!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deactivating the page doesn\u2019t really \u201cdelete\u201d the page because you can reactivate it for a period. I\u2019ll cover that later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, deactivation ensures that nobody can access the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It also removes the page from search results. This is probably what you want.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Impact on employees<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a significant impact on LinkedIn users who linked to the company page in the experience section of their profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The logo and associations will be removed from their profile. Deactivating the company page on LinkedIn is not the solution here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to alert people that your company is paused in some way, the better way is to post an article to that effect on the company page \u2013 and keep it intact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Who_Can_Delete_A_Company_Page\"><\/span>Who Can Delete A Company Page?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There are only two types of people who can remove a company page:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Admins of the page<\/li><li>LinkedIn Customer Support staff<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Other LinkedIn users can include a company as their current or former employer in their profile. However, this does not give them permission to remove or alter the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re not sure whether you are an admin on a company page, there\u2019s an easy way to check.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Are you an admin?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Log into your LinkedIn profile and open the company page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are an admin, the page displays your status at the top. The display may state that you are viewing in Super Admin mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, it\u2019s also possible to be an admin but your status is set to view the page as a normal member.
