The administrators of company pages can\u2019t control who sees the page and who doesn\u2019t.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, you do have some options if you\u2019re dealing with a problem situation. Here are some actions you can take.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Review followers and block them from viewing your profile<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.linkedin.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LinkedIn<\/a> released a new feature in 2020 that allows Company page administrators to view a list of people who are following the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The feature doesn\u2019t always work, but hopefully, you\u2019ll be able to use it when you need to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can examine the list to see if there are individuals who you\u2019d prefer not to see your personal account profile. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you\u2019ve identified one or more LinkedIn members, follow the instructions in our article on <a href=\"https:\/\/bandittracker.com\/block-someone-on-linkedin-without-viewing-their-profile\/\">how to block people on LinkedIn from your profile<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Report abusive activity to LinkedIn<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This is an action that you should consider carefully before taking the necessary steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the follower on your Company page is behaving in ways that are against LinkedIn policies, you can report their activity to Customer Support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An example would be if the person is posting abusive messages or libelous material. LinkedIn may take steps to ban the member from the platform completely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Don\u2019t expect an immediate response from LinkedIn. They will take some time to review the member\u2019s activities and to be sure that your complaint is justified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Deactivate your Company page<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the nuclear option but it may be your preferred choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are some things to consider before you deactivate a page. You can\u2019t easily reactivate it yourself. Reactivating a page requires a request to LinkedIn Customer Support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can\u2019t simply deactivate the Company page and then create a fresh new one. LinkedIn doesn\u2019t allow a new page to reuse the same company name and email domain address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You should also be aware that you can\u2019t deactivate a Company page with more than 100 followers. So, you can\u2019t delist them from your company. But you do have some options. Before we get into them, let\u2019s review what issues you may encounter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Incorrect or rogue employees<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Many people forget to update their LinkedIn status when they move on from a company. So, you can end up with inflated employee numbers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some LinkedIn members can make mistakes when specifying their current company or work history. There may be several companies with a similar name as your Company page.
