The armed bank robber is described as a black male, medium to dark complexion, height approximately 5’5” to 5’8”, between 160 to 185 pounds. The robber had a goatee and was wearing a dark colored base ball cap, dark sunglasses, with a striped long sleeved shirt.
At approximately 09:20 am, a lone black male entered the Sterling Bank and walked directly to the teller counter. The robber placed a dark colored bag on the counter with his left hand while pointing a black handgun in the direction of the teller with his right hand. Once the handgun was observed, the teller complied with the robbers demands. The armed bank robber exited the bank with the cash. No getaway car was observed by witnesses and no one was physically hurt during the robbery.
