On Thursday, November 8, 2007, the above captioned institution, which is insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, was robbed by a lone black male. At approximately 9:45am, a black male entered the Wachovia Bank and walked to the check writing kiosk. He wrote something on a deposit slip and got in line, waiting on a teller. He was called up to the teller station where he unfolded the deposit slip. Written on the deposit was “This is a robbery. Give me your money. I have a gun.” The teller, opened her drawer and removed her cash. She then handed the cash to the robbery who fled the bank on foot.
